Few installations at the Art Institute of Chicago require such dynamic lighting as this one. During the four performances of Sex, the color-tunable track based lighting was cued dynamically to each performance by the production manager moving amongst the gallery. While the architectural pier divides the gallery, and the visitors mingle throughout, the wi-fi based lighting controls change fluidly around them reacting to the actors, their movements and reactions.
