Avli on the Park reimagines the former III Forks steakhouse at Lakeshore East, transforming a dark, intimate space into a bright, inviting dining experience inspired by the Greek Islands. Polymath Design led a careful assessment of the existing lighting infrastructure, determining what could be preserved and what required upgrades.

Working closely with Gold Coast Interiors, the team integrated new and existing systems to support the fresh design vision. Many original luminaires and control systems were retained and retrofitted to meet updated energy codes, achieving substantial cost savings while reducing material waste.

Complex recalibrations allowed the lighting to deliver the brighter, airy aesthetic without compromising performance or efficiency. The result is a sustainable, modern solution that honors the new design intent while maximizing the value of the original installation — a seamless blend of thoughtful renovation and forward-thinking design.
