contemporary gallery

Within every museum, there are a series of flexible galleries used for exhibitions and temporary display. In this instance, the artist requested even illumination along the walls of the galleries, typically achieved only with wallwash track lighting (shown below). A custom track based linear LED was created using the custom track/ceiling module. In addition, the linear luminaire must also pivot to accommodate multiple placements and future installations. The final luminaire was designed to also incorporate wireless dimming since the galleries were not equipped with any dimming technology. The effect is smooth even illumination not only on the walls, but on the artwork which elates both artist and visitor alike.
